What a World

“What a day this has been, what a rare mood I’m in. Well it’s almost like being in love.” – Natalie Cole

Good morning to you all! How was your weekend? And past week? The weather finally broke here in Nashville and this weekend was a bit cooler and easier to be outside. Any bets on how long this weather will last? 🙂

Schools start again in Nashville next week. I am still a bit in awe at how quickly the summer has gone. August promises to be a busy and exciting month, not just for me but for everyone in the US. The eclipse is August 21st and Nashville and my hometown in Wyoming both are gearing up for the event. Will any of you get to see the eclipse? I’ve personally never seen one, and am very much looking forward to it.

For those in the Nashville area, TOMORROW is the day to come to Lone Wolf in Smyrna from 7-10pm and showcase your songs, hear some of mine, and generally have a great time. I will be debuting a few new tunes, as well as pulling out some classics. It will be a great time, and I hope to see you all there! If you do stop by, come say hello and let me know you read my blog for a drink on me 🙂

Here’s to a new week. I know the world can seem like a scary place at times, more and more this year than ever before. But have faith. Faith in yourself and those you trust the most. Things will get better. There is an ebb and flow in everything. Stay strong, and stay courageous!

Until next week (or tomorrow!)

Jessica 🙂
